For over 40 years we have been in the bicycle business. As a teenager owner and operator, Chuck King, started out in the wholesale bike business in Waltham. In 1985 Chuck bought a small shop and doubled the size in one year.
Chuck has also been a fisherman most of his life. A phone call from a friend in need resulted in starting fishing charter business on Cape Cod. A few years later, after teaching people how to fish, I moved on and concentrated on the store. After 27 years in the city I moved to Ayer to set up a small shop. In Ayer, he has taken up fly tying and loves to catch fish on his personally made flies and loves hearing stories from his clients about their experiences.
With two Disc Golf courses behind the Sports Shop, Chuck decided to add a Disc Golf. area to the shop. Now, with over 250 discs in house, Chuck has become adept at disc selection whether you are a novice or expert level player.
